Hi All;
I decided to install a small circulating fan in the bedroom of our 36FL. My plan was to add a second toggle switch beside the existing one that operates the ceiling lights.
When I removed the existing switch and started fishing the wires out of the hole I found this wire inside the wall cavity. The shielding on the wire is brown and the 3 wires inside are green, red and white. I thought maybe it was for the awning or maybe satellite... any ideas?
In case aren't familiar with the 36FL, the bedroom is in the rear of the trailer.
those go to the ceiling vent area.. and are a pre wire for a fantastic fan , i did the same thing added a 12 volt ceiling, took the power off the red lead, as it is the hot/control leads for the fantastic fan. the wiring is too light for 120 volt.
Its not satellite, not enough conductors and it is black jacketed. I agree, I think it is the ceiling fan (prewire). The Fantastik fans were an option in every vent.
