You might save some in case another slide need repair. I replaced it on the door side slide and need to do the other one now. I do have enough left over from the first repair job.

Save it, you'll need it again. I've already used up what I thought was surplus.

D Seals

All three of my top slide out D seals were shot. So I decided to change all three of them at the same time.

John,

Curious what caulking you used to re-seal them? I tried three different kinds and nothing would stick to the D seal. The Dealer took care of it in 10 minutes when I took it in for its annual, but I don't know what he used.

I tried standard exterior DAP, Proflex (yuk) and Sikaseal that the original Dealer gave me.
