Hello folks. I’m new to the form and also a new Redwood owner. I recently purchased a 2021 3401RL with the anticipation that I have purchased one of the best brands of trailers a person could own. I’ve been sadly disappointed on our very first outing. The major issues are the bedroom A/C will not work and we discovered the “underbelly panel” had filled up with water and bowed it down before a small river started gushing out when I moved the front trailer jacks up. At the end of our 2week camping trip I took the trailer back to where I purchased it new. They confirmed the A/C was toast and that they found a loose pipe on the back side of the water heater. Tightening the pipe was the easy fix but the water damaged caused by the leak is major. The storage area as well as the kitchen floor are all heaving and delaminating. The dealer is telling me they need to ship it back to the factory in USA and be torn apart and rebuilt. After paying over $130000 and using it only once, I am extremely disappointed and upset. The trailer will never be the same again. These are manufacturers problems, not something I did or caused in error. I’m wanting my trailer replaced. Has anyone ever had problems like this or heard of Redwood replacing a brand new trailer?
Don't feel bad we sold our 2015 RW 35RL In October and bought a new Newmar MH. Last week with less than 2000 miles on Odometer (1000 miles of that delivery to dealer from factory) our engine blew. We are now with out the MH for at least 60-90 days while they replace the engine with new one. So much for summer RV trips. It happens to all makes and models.
