No High Fan on AC

We've got a 2013 Redwood and love it. However, although we have a regular air and a heat pump central air system, we can not get high fan on either unit. Would help on hot days when we need to get rig temp down to a livable level. To my knowledge the thermostats and AC are original

my best guess is the slide switch on the thermostat. you could try cleaning the contacts but most of that type of cleaners can stain the wood. A low tech aproch is slide the switch back and forth 20 times with the AC powered off.

While it might be the slide switch contacts if the thermostat it could also be the thermostat wiring or entire thermostat also. Remove thermostat cover and remove the 2 screws holding the thermostat to the wall. Carefully pull the wiring out the hole and make sure that the wire nuts are all tight and wiring is all connected. Small wires like that are brittle and can break off. If all is well you can push wiring back in the hole and resecure the thermostat to the wall.
