Onan lp generator hook up

Hello my wife and I bought a 2015 RW38RL ,THE CAMPER IS GENERATOR READY forus ,thepigtail is there and the trailer is set up for a lp gen.my question is I'm putting a onan 6500 lp in soon.what kind of lp set up ,lines,regulators etc,etc, do ineed.do pipe it into the dual 30 pound coach tanks or does it get it's own tank,is this a low pressurehookup or high pressure one.thanks in advavce..

We have the the 5500 Onan LP, it runs off the (2) 40 LP cylinders, you can do this work yourself, but being propane, I would have someone qualified hook it up for me.
I have taken some pictures of our set up, and as soon as DW returns from the store I will try to post them for you to see.

Just T (I'd add a valve there also to isolate Benny if necessary) off the inlet side of the changeover regulator as shown in the pic & your local propane dealer will have or can make any length hose you'll need, this should be the easy part of the install.

I hooked mine to the high pressure side of the regulator. Did not want to run out of propane if the regulator Calvert runs off your regular bottles. I went to 40lb and carry 2 30s when travelling
