It is a quick connect. Similar to air lines. Ours is self coiling. Blue in color, with a chrome plated garden nozzle on the other end. Maybe 10 to 15 foot long stretched out.

Here is a link to one:

Several owners have had a hard time connecting the quick connect to the outside shower, so if it doesn't connect easily, keep trying, it will connect. I can tell you mine was very difficult. It was so difficult that once I connected it, I left it connected.

I couldn't get mine in no matter how hard i tried. The dealer has to be able to in order to winterize it. I asked he said he had no problem. Try connecting to it after relieving all the pressure in the water lines.

There is a note some where on how to fix this. I believe you take a screwdriver and a hammer and hit a ring inside the connector.

I followed this procedure and it worked.

I also used a little silicone lube on the outer sleeve that helped a ton.

Yes some silicone lube or plumbers grease can help in that fitting. Another problem with those is that if not properly winterized they can freeze and damage can occur to those internal parts. I think that is why a firm screwdriver push helps to put the parts back where they belong so that the hose fitting can be locked in place.

I have been lubing the quick disconnect with food grade silicone. Works like a charm.

If you watch the vide how to connect and disconnect the hose.... What if you press on the internal fitting as if you were going to release it then hold and push in the hose, hold in place and release the inner coupler? Did we not get a hose for this with our original kit? I've never used mine so I can't (CRS).

I thought that it might worked similar to an air hose connector.

I gave up with mine and once it was in... I have never disconnected it and just leave it hanging there since we use it quite often with our dogs.

My wife used the outside shower and we were asked to leave the RV park. What gives here?

I was just joking... she is a Northern California hippy girl andreally would not care. But NO, that didn't happen. However talking with one of you childhood girlfriends, her friend did tell me that they used to run and play naked through the Redwood forests until they were about 12 years old. Wow shocker....That, so did not surprise me at all. She is......better........kind of, about that now, being that she is 50.
