Pocket doors between rooms.

Our double pocket door between bath and bedroom dropped and all 8 of 12 screws came out of hanger rail first time we ever used it .. woops the two on the side next to the wall were never installed or even drilled out. Guess the installers had short arms like me and I guess the other 2 were never put in. Must have run out or too expensive. I stopped at my dealer because I wanted to know if longer screws would help put it back up... He said he didn't think they were ever screwed into a top plate of some sort just screwed into the thin ceiling board...Anyone else have this problem... If so how did you repair it?

Sorry Royce, we haven't used/ closed those doors since our PDI almost 4 years ago & now I'm afraid to cause might have the same issue.

I just ran a straightened large paper clip up through one of the mounting screw holes and never touched anything. Seems as though they are right at the dealer; just screwed to the ceiling board. How stupid is that! I'm thinking about pulling the rail down and putting double sided tape on the ceiling side of the rail and then putting attaching the rail back to the ceiling with the screws. What do you think? Do you know anyone to call at RW or Crossroads and the number to call to check on this.
