Progressive Surge protector remote display

Hi, I have the surge protector mounted on the bulkhead just under the generator transfer junction box. Now I am looking for the best way to run the cable for the remote display to the wall between the kitchen and bathroom where the other controls are.

I watched that video awhile back and completely forgot the part about the channel on the bottom of the trailer. I was thinking above, not below. Ironically, we just had a really intense lightning storm that knocked the power out for a few minutes. The trailer was plugged in to keep the batteries charged, and I gave a sigh of relief knowing that my newest investment was protected.

No. I was wondering if one of our people made it.

On both our 36RL and current 39MB, I pulled the Monitor Panel to allow access behind and dropped my Remote control cable down into the area behind the rear basement bulkhead. Then pulled down a section of the basement ceiling and ran my line forward and into the battery compartment.

Same as Michelle except on my RL, the included phone cable was too short to do this by about 4'. I had to run to HD and get a 25' cable to make it.

Going through the basement ceiling makes the most sense in my installation. How do I take out the ceiling panel without tearing something up like I usually do? Do the little black strips just pull out?

I installed mine behind the converter box, that way what ever is my power source, all is protected. Guess I could have mounted it upstream of the transfer switch to protect it as well, but didn't.

Put mine in the service center. Figured when I plugged in, I could just walk up and see what the monitor told me. Don't need to monitor it all the time from inside the coach. If the EMS catches a problem and shuts me down, I can go out and see what the problem is

That's exactly what I did. Mounted it on the backside of the access door.
