Which equals "NOT MUCH"!!!
If a welder adds better welds & gusset to either end it would be better, but still rated at 300 tongue weight & 3000 max trailer weight.

I am pretty sure our 38RL has a decal on or near the hitch that states max 3500Lbs....not a lot of places you can tow a "triple"....my thoughts would be a hitch mounted cargo rack...or storage for bikes...or I have seen a heavy duty application / carrier for a motor cycle (large scooter).....I realize there is a 7 pin plug back there so a triple tow is an option....small boat maybe....make sure the tongue weight is not exceeded and you ad that weight to your total cargo allowed in your trailer...Wes

There are a few of us that tow. This is our rig. Hitch is reinforced, car weighs 2780 lbs and truck is a F350 Dually with Max Tow option. Within all our weights and legal in SD. I realize that other states don't reciprocate but so far through almost 8k miles and 18 states we haven't had any interest from any LEO other than the SC trooper who gave me a thumbs up out his window.

Car is setup like behind a motorhome with BlueOx tow system and a SMI Stay in Play Duo fully proportional brake system. Whole rig tows like a champ... coach has MorRyde IS suspension, Kodiak disc brakes and MorRyde pinbox. Truck has Airlift Airbags with compressor and remote, Helwig sway bars, Bilstein shocks and a Comfort Ride Hitch.

Oh, and Redwood stopped putting trailer wiring on the coaches after the 2012 model year for liability reasons.

Interesting about thew wiring past that date...As I know very little about the history of our rig....I guess the last owner must have had something in tow....the plug is present....and it looks like something was working in the receiver....but no extra welding done...Thanks for the info...Wes

Our '12 36RL actually had a 4 pin flat connector sticking out at the hitch, but we never used it.
