We would like to have a dishwasher and new sink installed in our 2014 Redwood. Do they do that at the factory in Elkhart? Any suggestions are much appreciated.
1st - The existing coach must be prepped for the Dishwasher . .
2nd - the factory in Indiana will NOT do that install that I know of.. Ours was prepped and I could not get the dishwasher installed Before it left the factory so My selling dealer did the install.... They did a great job !

in order for the dishwasher to fit the island it must be bumped out on the backside or extra deep, otherwise the island will need to be modified.
As Joe said if it's not factory prepped it's probably cost prohibitive to add one

I installed the Fisher/Paykel dishwasher in ours, as it was equipped with the hot water valving under the sink and the v port for the drain hose. I'm fairly sure all Redwoods of that vintage were so equipped. Take out the tall narrow spice drawer in the island and you should be able to see the drain pipe where the dishwasher drain is placed. There should be a hot water and cold water valve under the sink. Cold for the optional icemaker install and hot for the dishwasher. The v port drain should have a plug installed that will have to be removed so the dishwasher will drain into the gray tank.

Sort of agree with Jim, we didn't get the dish washer, but we have the drain connection. Our problem, they didn't cap that drain port and had sink drain water flowing out that port.

Ours was prepped for dishwasher. Had hot water line valve under sink. Drain port was there and had to cut end off to attach drain hose. Shelf panel even had the hole and grommet for the 110v cord there. Just had to get drawers for the upper space. Fisher Paykel fit in the opening perfectly. Since I have an Indiana business license I was able to purchase at wholesale price from supplier who is about 2 miles from our house in elkhart. Wife and I love it. Very quiet and does a great job. 1.8 to 2.2 gallons to wash and 1.8 to 2.2 gallons to rinse depending on the cycle. Figure most people use more water than that doing a few dishes by hand.
