My refrigerator is not in that recall, I just checked the serial number. It hasn't given me a more grief yet. I still think the detailing had something to do with the fault. I could be wrong but I'd like to think so

I had assumed that this wouldn't apply to Redwoods as it apparently only goes to fridges produced up to 2010. I "hope" it was something else or Redwood must have purchased some old stock somewhere and many of the early Redwood models might have this issue.
Going to check my Norcold S/N now...

Yes, singles side by side. Isn't the RW double door, 2 refers side by side? I got 16.something cubic feet vs. 12 cubic feet on most double refers. This is the one thing I love about this Crossroad. I can use one, or both refers. If one tears up, I still have another. I have had zero problems in my 1 1/2 years with these refers. But, to be clear, I have never depended on them for propane use.

Man, I like these doubles. RW should pick that idea from Rushmore, it is great.

The Service tech told me that he thought Norcold was fixing everything due to the recent 33 million dollar settlement. I hope your unit keeps working but if not call someone and see what happens.
My trailer was built the end of March 2012

Just to be clear, are you saying you're 2015 Redwood has two individual single door fridges side by side? I've seen these on other units but not on the Redwoods. It would make a lot of sense, assuming you could still get an ice maker.
If this is true you'll have a wall in between the fridges whereas the 12 ft models are completely open when you open either door.

No, my 14 Rushmore(that I'm still in, but within a week of exchanging for my new RW) has two refers, of 8 cf each. I just went to the dealer to look at my 36 rl and it appears to have the 12 cf double door. I just said I would prefer the double refer that my Rushmore has. I love that set up.
