Isn't it amazing that we as a group of owners are having to deal with this refrigerator issue. I would think REDWOOD would be sending out a permanent fix for this situation. No, I am not going to drill a hole in my refrigerator, this is ridiculous, hello REDWOOD.

Here is the new refrigerator lock system sent to us from Redwood. Leaving on trip Wednesday will see if it holds better than the round knob we tried that came off second trip.

Just curious did you have to go through the dealer to get that part? Did it have a part number?

You beat me to the punch posting these pictures (still trying to figure out how to post pics.). We're on our shakedown trip in our 2016 39MB & this new metal lock setup has worked perfectly on our Whirlpool residential fridge. I'm sure that if you guys contact Redwood, that you can probably order one....... looks like it just screws in with sheet metal screws.

Dealer gave us new lock..round knob type that seems to be long enough now and hoping will stay in place. They also glued a block of wood or something to top of fridge to keep it from tilting out when rig is in motion.
