Refrigerator power problem.

D\W was burning up my phone a while ago, the fridge lost power and Inverter control panel was reading Fault High VAC.

I got home and checked power at pedestal, wondered why inverter had not switched to 12 V so I hit the reset button after checking and unit started working again and fault went away. have to leave for a couple weeks at end of month, so wondering if anyone has had this issue and what I should look for as I would not want this to happen while away.
As always your comments are most appreciated.

It’s just a guess, but I expect you had a power spike from your electric provider. Not completely unusual. Do you have surge protection on the coach? If you do, it should clamp the spike and prevent it getting to the inverter.

Yes that was the first thing I checked, surge protector showed normal, asked wife if anything flickered as I thought surge also, it hot here in Florida she said everything was working fine until she opened the door saw light out and looked at front panel on Fridge and it was blank, she looked at breakers first then saw fault on Inverter panel and called me.

Then I would start checking for loose connections. Shore power and batteries.
