Replacing Light Fixture

I would like to replace the 2 recessed lights over the dresser with 2 pendant lights (that's where I do my makeup). Can I buy fixtures at Home Depot and just use 12V bulbs? I've read on other forums that folks have done that. Or do I order RV-specific fixtures?

I believe the lights you purchase must be 12 lights. The 12 volt bulbs won't fit in the 110 volt sockets.

Note: The 2 can be and most times are different.

Camco makes 12V CFL bulbs that will fix in a standard 120 VAC light fixture.We changed out the cheap fixtures in our Montana with nice fixtures from Lowes and use the Camco 12V CFLs in them.

I stand corrected. Did not know there was a 12 volt bulb that would fit 120 volt lights.
