I have a 2012 36RL. I want to replace the Thetford toilet with a Dometic 320. My concern is the clearance between the toilet and the shower door. I have 2 7/8" clearance from the back of the Thetford to the wall, and about 7/8" between the toilet and the shower door at the closest point. Has anyone put a 320 in their 36RL? I have seen a lot of dimensions for both toilets, but can't get the measurements that I need. I really would like the enlongated bowl, and get rid of the Thetford. If the 320 won't fit, does anyone have a suggestion for a better toilet?
My 2012 36rl came with a Dometic 310. The dimension are back to wall 2", wall to center of flange bolt 12", shower door to front of bowl 3". This rv is in service 8 months a year and have no issues with this toilet.
I finally found the dimensions I was looking for. I think the shower door will miss the 320 by just a hair. Too close to risk ordering one and find out it won't work. I just ordered the 310. Can't wait to get rid of the Thetford. I also have a Thetford in the motorhome. It's been working fine so far, but the first sign of a problem, it's gone too.
I replace ours in the 2015 RL-38 , I had to move the flange on the floor about 1/2" in the exiting hole. lucky the factory used a big hole saw on the floor. plus I added6 new stainless steel sheet metal screw to the floor flange.

I was waiting for the washer to finish so I could shut off the water when I made my last reply. I got the 310 installed in about 15/20 minutes. Water line hooked right up after I pulled a little a slack up. I would have put a valve in the line, but the only thing I could find to fit was a brass ball valve. That wasn't happenin'. Glad I ordered the 310 and not the 320. There's about an 1 1/4" clearance between the toilet and the shower door. I guess it all depends on who was drilling the hole for the flange.
