samsung fridge leaking

I have RF 17 Samsung fridge that leaks water. I want to replace the fridge with a different model

Don't know anything about this particular model but at first glance your intended course of action appears to be rather extreme. Maybe the condensate line has come loose. Are you able to locate the source of the leak?

We had our fridge disassembled as shown to install the copper wire into the drain... it was indeed iced over and clearly overflowing into the fridge. We just got the part in the mail to replace the existing metal that goes there. Not sure it's going to help, but the part was cheap so worth a try.
