Looking for recommendations and suggestions for extended stay parks in the Sarasota area for next winter. We aren't sure when we would arrive in the area yet, probably December or January and will stay until end of March.

Any help is appreciated.

go to RVParking.com and search for Sarasota. There are quite a few RV resorts available in the area.

Hello my wife was in Sarasota a month ago visiting her
mother and checked out a campground called Sun N Fun, said it was real nice. We
will be staying there for a few days in May. I can let you know how it was after
that.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /></span>Then heading south
stopping somewhere to see the everglades then to Key West then back stopping in
Savanna before heading home. Anyone know of any good places around the
everglades, Kew West, and Savanna

COLDJM, thanks for the link, it lists several in the area which we'll check out.

IPull, thanks to you too, Sun N Fun is on the list to check..

Still looking for personal experiences with parks in the SunCoast (Punta Gorda - Bradenton) area, if you've stayed at any of the parks in the area please share your experiences, especially if you've had extended stays in the winter.

We stayed at the Riverside RV Resort while visiting family in Punta Gorda and found it to be a very nice park and we'll probably stay there whenever we are in that area.

Make sure to stop at Robbie's on Ismorelda Key, Great place to feed the Tarpon by hand. Was amaized at the size of these fish, some over 6 foot long over 250 lbs, that would snap a mullet right out of you hand. my DW kept snapping pictures after two buckets of bait she got one with its mouth clean up to my elbow. their teeth are like sandpaper so they don't really hurt.
