Satellite and Cable TV connections

There's a splitter in the bedroom ceiling for both sat(orange) & cable(white), mine was accessed by removing the light fixture to right above the bedroom tv. Mine was connected wrong with the incoming cable connected to an outgoing connection, once wired correct the picture & signal was good. That's correct on the booster, cable from the antenna (gray or black) & park cable (white) from the convenience center going in & 1 cable (which should be the incoming) to that above mentioned splitter in the bedroom ceiling. All these colors were what mine were, yours may be different.

Also if the booster is on the cable won't work on either tv, it must be off for cable then scan the tv.

Just purchased a Winegard Pathway with 2 211 receivers. I have a 2014 39 MB. I was able to locate a direct line in for the living room tv and have it working. The bedroom is not working. Is this due to it being on a splitter with no direct line to the satellite? Does anyone have this set up and a solution? This is not a roof mount satellite. It is sitting outside on the ground. Thanks.

R38Special, you should post in in the Library so others can use. Its the Library tab above and then use the ADD. Takes a few days to get approved but then its on the site.

I use this device to stream HD TV to outdoor TV or bedroom TV. Use a splitter to share signal from satillite receiver. (Nyrius ARIES Home HDMI Digital Wireless Transmitter & Receiver for HD 1080p Video Streaming, Cable box, Satellite, Bluray, DVD, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xb). Works great.

we finally found the splitter. we were told it was in the bedroom ceiling. It was in the living room ceiling behind the light above the sofa on the door side of the trailer.

Guess they're getting good at hiding those splitters anywhere and everywhere in the ceiling.
As I've commented before, you will be hard pressed to find any two units wired the same.

I had 3 splitters in the ceiling, two in the bedroom, one in the living room and another splitter behind the main TV (so far). Two of the splitters were doing nothing but joining two wires, no barrel connectors around? I was trying to connect a sat receiver to the basement tv to watch baseball games. I must have had 20' of mixed, orange, gray and white cabling stuffed in the ceiling of the bedroom. The satellite cable from the roof changed colors twice and then wasn't labeled. I guess it is grab whatever and use it.

Brad's drawing got me started but mine was manufactured a bit later and wasn't wired the same. Attached is how my 2014 38GK is wired. Hope it helps.

i have been upgrading some 110 v wall plugs with110v usb plugs and between bathroom walls and bedroom, i found a silver flat ribbon cable with a lan connector on it. not a phone jack but wider computer network jack connection , which is a mystery to me anyone every seen this in a 2012 36 re? maybe past owner added it in , no clue? i still have extra wiring near bedroom tv for maybe a sat tv box im not sure i have a dome on the roof and sat tv in front room, bedroom is a mystery,

any help would be appreciated

Karl. Probably communication cable for a Max Air fan in the bathroom. We have one in our kitchen area and it uses that same type of cabling for controlling fan speeds, opening, closing etc. I would bet that if you remove your fan shroud in your bathroom you would find the other end of the cable there. Prepped for a future upgrade.
