On our 2012 36RL, the amplifier is straight above the left side of the TV. Us a flashlight and you will be able to see it. Or, you may be able to see a small LED indicator lamp on the amplifier when it is turned on.

Yep, the upper rear left corner of the cabinet to the Right of the Tele, at least before they redesigned the bedroom.

On our 38gk it's inside the cabinet to the right of the bedroom tv... (about where the yellow is on the first pic)

it looks like the 2nd pic, but is black and the toggle button is to the right of the 'cigarette lighter' looking hole..

BUT,
have heard of some odd places they put it, so look around the tv's !
behind the tv,
on/in the cabinets,
on top the shelves,
behind the drawers ...

good luck

PeggyC, yours should be in the same place as our, 2013 36RL. It is in the upper cabinet on the right side of the TV. Upper right corner of the cabine when you open it. The button is on the cover plate, little tiny button, you can barely see it.

^In my 36 rl the antenna button is to the left of the TV, in the armoire upper door. FTR, my booster stays on while my satellite is on. I don't have to turn it off to have a clear picture. I switch back and forth between satellite, and air with the input button on the remote, and have 100% clear picture both ways.

Jerry, that's probably because the Satellite signal typically does not go through the Booster, only the Roof top antenna and park cable through the park cable connection in the convenience center as the booster only has provisions for two inputs.

^Are you saying that I might have to turn the booster off if I'm using cable? Come to think of it, in one of my SOBs, I was using cable at a park and I think I did have to turn the booster off.

Yes, if on cable, turn booster off.
My 13 RL has the booster same place as yours, in the cabinet to left of the tv.

^I generally use satellite, but if the park has cable I usually don't take the time to set up satellite. Knowing this might come in handy in the future. I'll file that away in my head. Thanks.

Speaking of behind the TV, how does one get to the back of the TV in an RL? I see no possible way to get behind it, or to get it off the wall.

If you mean the bedroom tv, then push the top in some towards wall so tv is behind the face stile of the cabinet. Then lift straight up to clear mount and pull tv out.

Helps to add excitement to RV ownership. Think of it as an Easter egg hunt.....each RV is different.

Do yourself a favor....once you do get the TV off the mounting bracket.....remove said bracket and throw it as far as you can out the door. Be careful not to hit the unsuspecting neighbor lazily enjoying their adult beverage next to their campfire.

Then go to the big box store and buy an adjustable bracket that allows some movement of the TV. It's a 15 minute install well worth the time and energy it took to install.

Not there...an empty hole, no buttons, toggles, etc. We looked behind, above, next to, and under the TV. A Redwood dealer said to look in the large closet, nothing. Is there one in the living room that might control both TVs. Yes, we have also looked around but found nothing. Still waiting to hear back from another dealer who is looking into it.....

Did you but this RV used? If so, the previous owners might have rigged something else up.

I may have posted this before, but after a long frustrating exercise trying to remove the TV from the bracket I found the problem. The TV electrical plug in location behind the TV interferes with getting it off the bracket because there is zero clearance to move the TV up/back because of the plug.

If you want to save the cost of a new bracket run the TV electrical plug over to the receptacle located in the next cabinet below the booster (after you go through the hassle of getting the TV off the bracket!). The TV will come off the bracket much easier the next time you have to remove it!
