Satellite Wiring for RooF Winegard Dish Hookup on Redwood 36RL

Where does the wire for the Winegard Dish terminate at Roof , as multi conductor Black cable with 6-8pin connector on end that is located in cabinet of Bedroom where receiver/roof cable wiring and power . Is wiring in roof cavity. or near A/C Vent inside or by LED Light, below where exterior Satellite Roof Cables are located.

If you remove the two pucks on the roof that the coaxial comes out of the black wire will be taped to one of them. I just installed my Dish 1000. If you position you unit right there will be enough to plug directly into the unit without splicing. If you do decide to splice you can get telephone wire splices at most hardware stores. Make sure heat shrink them and caulk the ends. Atom ant has good pictures of his install that really helped me. I think it is the care and feeding forum under Dish Traveler.

Ya if they still do it like mine was is 2013, it was taped to one of the coaxes. It's the exact same control cable that comes with the Winegard Travelr antenna.

hmmm, well, I guess all I can say is forget the link and just go to the tab at the top that says PHOTOS and select Atom Ant SK-1000

So it would seem that you can click on my name at the left, select my public profile, and my albums will show up on the right. Two are visible, or you can select to show all albums and it will take you to a new window.

The antenna info is under the Atom Ant SK-1000 album. Once open, if you click on the first picture it will open into a slide show with captions that explains what I was doing.

PS, just an FYI for those that maybe looking at this wiring diagram, I have said before, not all are wired like this. In my '14 GK, there is a direct (orange) cable run from the living room to the outside tv. Unlike Brad's, my dish supplied splitter would live in the living room and feed the outside tv. The balance of the installation would be the same!

Hopefully anyone that wanted to look at the Dish install photos is finished. I noticed the website random photo draw was pulling random pictures from that album and sticking them at the top of the forum and they are pretty boring for anyone not installing a dish, so I turned them off from public view.

If the subject comes up again or if someone sends me an IM and wants to look at them I can turn it back on. I'm sure there are some nice dancing girl pictures folks would rather look at than schematics.
