Savannah Georgia

I am planning on visiting Savannah in October in our Redwood RE. Can anyone suggest any nice parks around that area?

I have a 2013 RW34SK and have been staying Hilton Head Marina and RV Resort when we can get away from MA. It is about a half hour away from Savannah.

A bit far, I know, but we stayed on Jekyll Island and used that as our base camp to see the city and the other, many attractions in that area.

We stayed at Skidaway State Park and had a nice time. There's a church on the road in that hosts a low country boil and man... it is sooooo gooood....

Hilton head will have the most luxurious rv parks in the area. But it will be a drive to Savannah for the sights. Skidaway is decent, but I am not sure they have full hookups. Check out Tybee island, Rivers end campground. It is not a bad drive to downtown Savannah. There is a decent KOA in Richmond Hill GA, that is about a 25 - 30 min drive to downtown savannah. I know of several other places to stay, but few I would recommend.

We lived in Savannah for 8 years, loved every bit and we miss the area so much.
