screws backing out on roof

Own 2015 38GK fifth wheel. Have several areas on roof that look like the screws are backing out. Concerned that it will eventually poke a hole in the roof covering. Any suggestions on how to fix this??

Are you still under RW warrantee??? If so get in touch ASAP.
This has been discussed before on here and all goes back to faulty workmanship in the factory. Nothing you can do for a repair since you can not get to the problem. Roof has to come off.

Are they near the edge of the roof? Like in the first 1” to 3” of the side?

I had that, the dealer repaired but it was just barely under warranty,,

Thanks for the reply and information. My warranty is out from manufacturer but bought the extended warranty. Going to see about getting the roof covering replaced.
Thanks again.

They did not replace the roof membrane, they pealed up the membrane, refastened the corner protector and nails...

They than re-glued the portion they pealed, and re-sealed the edges..

Are the screws coming up on the roof or on the slide? We had screws and staples pushing up through the vinyl. If the screws go through the roofing material, make sure to screw them back down and put Gorilla tape or something like that over them, so you don't end up with any water issues--until you can get a permanent fix.

If you end up need to replace the roofing, you should definitely consider one of the "Armor" roof products. (i.e. RV-Armor or FlexArmor)
