Seal Replacement?

We have a late 2014 GK. Has any one had to replace their seal on the livingroom/kitchen slide? Our seal dry rotted! Need to replace it. Does anyone one know what type of seal it is?

Seal?

Thank you for responding. I believe it's the wiper seal. The most outer seal that you see when the slide is in. Need to replace it. Thank you.

Must be the bulb seal as it is the only seal you can see from the outside with the slide in. The bulb seal is an easy replacement as it "clips" onto a "track" on the wiper. The wiper on mine is a one piece that has self adhesive on the outside, wraps around the wall of the coach and then is stapled on the inside. Sort of an "H" shape. Bulb seal I can do myself, the wiper needs another pair of hands.

Thank u! It looks as though they silicones around that seal also. What can I use to remove the silicone, that won't harm the clear coat.

Removing the silicone from the Rv it is best to use a Plastic razor blade scraper available on Amazon, that way you will not scratch the paint, also have some Acetone handy to wipe excess residue off left behind after scraping off silicone.
The one I have is called InstallGear Mini scraper with 12 Plastic blades.

You can call Tiara RV sales Elkhart In, they do Redwood parts and service, # 574-266-2136 0r email Jennifer@TiaraRvSales.com she can probably help you but be sure you have Year, Model and Vin #, so she can give you part #, and order and ship for you if you so choose.

You can also then go to Steele Seals on Amazon and cross reference seal part # and check for a better price.
