Both ideas are interesting.
I've never had the leveling system pull the wheels off the ground though.
The Trailer-Aid looks like an effective (and cheap) means of changing a tire, but people are complaining that many times the flat tire is not pulled up high enough to mount the spare. It looks like there is more than one model. Not sure which is the right one for Redwood with 16"/G614s which have been reported to be 1" higher.

Here what the Montana looked like on the very level site (per the campground office):

See the rigid shackle between the two tires? The Redwoods have a floating spring mount by Trail Air. Does that make any difference when using the Trailer-Aid or leveling system?

Wow!!!! I would have backed the door side up on some blocks to level it side to side before i would have done that. they tell motor home people to never do that for some reason.

This must be where the debate between 10" and 12" frame rails began.

Luckily we have a 12" frame at the rear section and a 10" for the drop down in front.

Thank you all once again for the info on the tire replacement. I like the trailer aid product and so does the Mrs. And yes I have to laugh at the campgrounds idea of whats flat. But what degree of flat 10 degree slop but smooth. We have had experiencies while dry camping in horse pastures that were better than your picture. We camped with a railroad tie on one side for one season. Hell of a last step. HAAAAAaaaaaa..

We had removed most of our leveling lumberyard after we had the Level-Up System installed so our options were limited. Also a note, that is not rigid at the shackles, that is part of the MorRyde LRE system which we replaced several weeks after that picturewith the MorRyde IS System, which we may eventually do on the Redwood, we'll have to see how it rides on the Factory suspension.

Is anyone still having the "popping" issue? We are waiting for new front jacks to come in and be installed. I sure am hoping that takes care of the noise and shakes.

Yes, we still have the popping. We are taking it in next week for that and a few other warranty issues. We have 2 of the leveling jacks that are leaking. Hoping that will fix the popping. Keep us posted and let us know if yours gets fixed. We will also post our results.

Dan, If they do yours like mine, then they will take pictures of the jacks and send them off to Lippert and RW for authority to replace. I, like you, hope that will fix the popping as it is getting worse - or maybe it is because I am paying more attention to it.

Thanks for the info. I will have them check that while they fix the jacks.

COLJDM, When was your's making the popping sound?
Was it while you were operating the system or after it had leveled and had been sitting for awhile.
Our popping was after we had set up and were in the trailer. It would, and occasionally still does, pop a day or more after we are camped.
I've popped the breaker while retracting the jacks because I thought the system would stop on it's own after they were fully retracted. It doesn't, so if I held the button down too long the breaker will pop.

It was popping when we were sitting watching a movie. The tech at lazy days said the breaker was bad and replaced it. Since then no popping sound.

Ours pops after we have set for a couple days and then periodically thereafter. I will have them check that breaker for sure.

It has now been two days since they replaced the front jacks and checked the breaker (which they said was good). So far I had two small pops the 1st night and all quiet since. Time will only tell, but so far so good.

So far we have not had any problems with the popping issue. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
