Question Shower Door

I live in Northern Alberta approximately 45 minutes from Edmonton AB. I checked our trailer yesterday, only to find that the glass in the shower door completely shattered, glass all over the place. After cleaning up the glass, I thought I take the door off and get new glass put in. My question, how do get the shower door off without dismantling the complete shower. Can't figure out how to remove the hinge pins. According to the sticker on the glass, it's a Shower Enclosures American Inc. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to remove the hinge pins? Has anybody else had their shower door glass shatter? I am new to this forum, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum. Sorry to hear about your shower door glass. I would loosen the screws along the very top piece of the shower. Pretty sure that piece holds everything in its place. I would tap up using a board and light hammer or a rubber mallet to raise the top up enough to release the top pin of the hinge.

Correct about the manufacturer, Usually SEA makes most of the RV enclosures.
Shower Enclosures of America, Inc.

Good Luck.

Curious what model you have. Our dealer recommended we put a doors stop in the floor for the bathroom door, because if we left it unlatched or if it popped open the door handle would smash the shower door in transport.

Shower Door

We have a 2013 Redwood RW36RE. Our unit is parked for the winter in our back yard. We had some cold weather for about week (-20 to -25 C) then the weather warmed up to +8 to +10C for a few days. I am thinking the big change in temperature probably cause the glass to shatter. Without checking for sure, our bathroom door handle doesn't hit the the shower door.

i would contact the supplier of the shower and i would bet they will take care of your problem. You might have to get it delivered to a local dealer but it is free to try.

Tempered glass can break for no reason at all, it's called spontaneous breakage. Heat and or cold should have nothing to do with it.
