Shower Vent LocationHe

Hello - does anyone know the location of the shower drain vent? Is it the one under the bathroom sink?

I would say the shower vent is under the bathroom sink according to the attached drawing of the plumbing black pipes.

It is so nice to have drawings on these rigs! Never had that with other rigs.

Thumbs up Redwood!

On my FB the shower vents through the roof. The vent under bathroom sink is for the sink. Also the kitchen sink vents under the sink & toilet vents through the roof.

On ours I don't see that we have a vent at all. If you remove the basement wall you'll see the shower appears to drain directly into the gray tank. So if there's a vent it's downstream a bit.

On the 36RL there's a roof vent that's a short ways from the shower

I think you will find each WASTE TANK has a roof vent, and Antisiphon vents are provided on each waste line that exceeds a certain length away from the tank.

The vent is maybe on the grey tank?

After seeing the drawing that's probably how ours is plumbed as well.

Thanks for the info. I know I have a shower drain vent issue because of the odor and the fact that the kitchen sink gurgles when the shower is being used. I will check the roof tomorrow, but I remember only on vent previously.
