slide in slide topper

We have a 2016 36RL, with the slide within the slide bedroom, has anyone tried to or successfully had a topper installed on this. Also the slide on the passenger side has a awning over the top of it. There doesn't seem to be any room to install a topper on this slide either. Has anyone come across this problem too.

When first received my 2016 38RL, I had several conversations with the folks at Carefree about this... Their engineering team told them that there is NO ROOM to successfully mount a slide topper on the slide in slide portion.

On the passenger side side I lowered the awning about 3 inches to make room for the topper. You also need the topper to be the same width overall as the slide. Don't go by the measurements they use for the side. It will be to wide and interfere with the awning.
