Slide out stopped - fuse

I was checking my curbside slide out today. I pulled it in and when I moved it back out the switch quit working. I checked all the breakers and fuses in the panel and all are good. Is there another fuse somewhere to check. I am asking to perhaps save time in weeding out the problem
Thanks

Also check the mini-breakers that are on the charger bar by the batteries. Some are auto resetting, that when they cool will reset themselves. Others trip and might have a small black button on the side. Just depress this button and it should reset.

No solenoids or breakers in the front end I will have to start chasing it back from the motor or the switch. Didn't want to have to remove the belly pan to get at the slide motor

Is it the bedroom or living room slide?

Being curbside slide out it should be hydraulic. There should be a small fuse holder to the wiring going to the Trombetta on the hydraulic pump which runs the slides and leveling jacks. Look below and near the hydraulic pump. I bet the problem is there.

Do the hydraulic levelers still work? Can you hear the pump?

I have not tried the Jacks
There is no online fuse in the battery hydraulic compartment. My fuse panel is good solenoids are good
No error lights in the slide out control boxes
Next is to check wiring under the bed
I have power up front breaker box but nothing at the switch
I will have to trace out the wiring from the switch to the source

Check the ground wires on the wall behind the battery box.

The slide-out control boxes are just for bedroom slide synchronizing, so ignore.

The dining/kitchen slide is hydraulic and powered by the pump. I suspect your levelers aren't working either because no power to the pump.

Let us know what you find.

The first thing I'd check would be the jacks. If the pump turns on for the jacks....you know there's power there. Then you can start at the switch and work back toward the pump.

I think that the people on this forum are much more well educated than the ones on the ROG
I posted the same question on both forums and had 11 responses here 0 on the other with 41 lookers
The volume of traffic is greater here from what I can see.
Don't get me wrong I know there are some smart ones there cause they are on both forums
Maybe should be a new thread to stir the pot

There are a lot of good people involved with the forums and I believe most will help if they know the answers. I really don't know much about the other forum. I used to be a moderator on there too and there were some very helpful people so you might have just caught them at a bad time.

You have my cell number now so call me anytime and I'll try to understand your issues. I'll call Redwood and get some answers for you.

I would bet that many of them are like me. If I see it posted on one forum with the question getting responses and then see it on the other one why answer twice? There are many people that are on both forums.

There is a 10am in line fuse close to the batteries and hydraulic lines in the front of the coach. It is hidden in the collection of cables and hoses but it is there. Ours blew out on our 1st trip in 2012 and we replaced it and havn't had that problem since. When that fuze goes none of the leveling hydraulics work nor can you raise or lower front jacks to load or off load the trailer from your truck

When I had my unit at Redwood in 2013, they replaced that fuse with a resetting circuit breaker. Still never had a problem with my '12RL.

All my fuses including the 10 a by the batteries are good Stabilizers and rest of slides work. I also have power to slide switch. I either have a loose connection or bad slide motor. Unless there is another fuse hidden somewhere
Thanks for your help.

Are you sure you don't have your slide isolated at your pump?

As long as your pump works the leveling system, the problem isn't your pump. Your slides are pushed in and out by cylinders connected to the pump through hydro hoses.

call me when you get a chance tomorrow and I've got someone I can call at the factory. I should be able to get some answers for you as soon as I get a clearer picture of whats going on.

Well I finally found the problem of my slide. It was the control module that energizes the pump. Redwood and my dealer sent me a new one. I replaced it and good as new. Thanks to all of you for your help
