Soft Ceilings

Does anyone know why they don't use "soft ceilings" on our units? Our last 5er had them, and I noticed a distinct interior noise buffer. This is the only major feature RW that I would had opted for.

Happy new Year!!!

I don't know, but that was one of the features of the Redwood Special Edition prototype that never came to be.

Too bad. It really made a difference when the DW wants to "retire" early, and I want to watch a late movie and keep it a little quieter.

If they truly surrendered on the Carriage and Special Edition, the soft ceilings may come to be in the Redwood, especially if one of the price class competitors start using them and they get some good feedback.

Steve, we've solved that issue of different bedtimes. I purchased a set of Sony Wireless Headphones. Works great, especially since I have a hard time hearing anyway, sound all the way down on the Tele, and adjust the headphones as loud as I want (within reason, of course).

Great idea, although its hard to know how loud I am singing-along on those musicals!

That was one of the features that I liked in the Carriage. I don't know why but I always thought it was kind of classy.
