Something to Sleep ON
Recently changed out the Bed Plateform to supply better support for our Sleep Number Mattress. What a surprise to see this label stamped to the underside of the OEM Plywood Plateform:

Needless to say I was a little shocked knowing we'd been sleeping on top of that for the last 5 months.

I can't help but wonder if it was used in OTHER places? This is not setting well with me. :-( We live in ours and are not able to escape cold winters, therefore a lot of inside time.

I wouldn't worry. Any rv manufacturer that sends units for sale into california has to have components that meet the CARB Phase II requirements, If not that manufacturer can no longer sell units in that state. The CARB Phase II requirements are stiffer than the Phase I requirements. California Air Resources Board, (CARB) had these rules in effect since 2008, RVIA had requirements in place before they were required to. CARB Phase II deals mainly with doors, MDF, and paneling that is covered or laminated. Most plywood is exempt since it is not like OSB or MDF. I assume the manufacturer of the plywood was strictly stating it is exempt from those standards.

I am not understanding this..........is Redwood no longer using the "Eurobed" support platform? Has the bed design been changed? Is plywood now being used under the mattress?
