Technological help needed

Well - it's now official - we are full timers. Moved into the coach and left for Herkimer , New York for the summer. Tracy is working with the owner of the KOA and a few other business and I'm Captain on a big tour boat on the Erie Canal. Got a call yesterday and it looks like we will be in the Port Canaveral FL area for the winter as I think I have another Captain job there.

Now for the help needed ...... we have both of our tower computers with us in the coach. Never needed to check before, but it appears neither one has wireless capability built in. That is first issue.

Bigger thing is that we have a Verizon Jetpack MIFI for our internet service. The cell signal is really poor at the site, one to two bars and will switch between 3G and LTE. What do I need to buy to hook the two computers to the MIFI along with a wireless printer and also have a better cell signal for both the MIFI and also our cell phones ?

I'm looking at the Wilson WeBoost system, looks like that may do all but the wireless for the computers, but I'm not sure and it's expensive $$$

Can some of you more knowledgeable tech people lead me please ?

i got our external wifi antenna from eric at techno rv Eric Johnson <eric@technorv.com>
i know he also has cell boosters and is really helpfull after the sale is done. i've called him 8 months with questions and never a hint of &^%$#&^%. i would see him first. he was at the rally last year.
a for the wifi on the 2 towers i believe you can either bring them to a computer shop and they can install them internally or add them externally. internally is best for me

I forgot about him, I'll call him tomorrow. Should earnestly remember d as I contacted him about the Rally for this year and they had a conflict and can't make it.

Thanks for reminding me !!

You can get wifi cards that go inside Vaughan, or even USB. Full timing with two Towers ouch, might be time for laptops.

That probably works pretty well then Vaughan. Here is a USB adapter, some don't use the antenna if the room in the back is an issue.

Here is a card that gets mounted inside. The cards work well if you have the older USB that aren't 2.0

You won't need anything with blazing speed, because the hot spots are not that fast and you are going through the hot spot as a hub.

Hey Vaughn, Very nice park here in Titusville Fl, called the Great Outdoors Rv Resort, large lots, about 25 mins from Cape Canaveral, park likes to rent for a month at a time, but several people have lots they rent for long periods. Safe travels.
