we have a 2015 RL 38 and I had a slide motor fail. They have changed the motor design slightly since they built them new. Now they have a rubber boot on the top of the motor to stop water from getting in the feed back section. The feed back is so the controller can keep motors running at the same speed. With out feed back the control will fault and not go in or out.

that was 3 years ago and we have had zero issue since.( we have slide in a slide in the bed room.)

Had my entire slide mechanism changed due to bearing failure.
Thank goodness for extended warranty.

My one and only problem occurred when I had deployed the bedroom slide on my 36RL but the trailer wasn't perfectly leveled up according to the auto level computer. I went ahead anyway and upon trying to retract it the slide had to be manually pushed back with the assistance of three adults; no picnic for sure!
I was convinced a motor had failed but was advised to setup on level ground and try again. It worked perfectly.

After a discussion with another Lippert frame Schwintec slide owner, he told me he was having trouble getting his in, and a call to the manufacturer of his trailer, he was told to hook up the RV and retract the jacks beforetrailer is on the jacks, the front may sag enough to cause trouble. Since I was having the same problem, I started doing this and no the slide goes in with ease.
he brought in the slides. There is a lot of flex in frames and when the
