The new style aluminum entry steps ??

How many have seen , or used the new alumna-tread quad steps ??
My steps are heavy , and always needing oil just to move them... Was thinking of upgrading to the new style . .

From what I've seen, on the new style steps it's only the treads that are aluminum the frame work is still steel and would still require lubing.

Thanks , I see that and was hoping that since the treads are aluminum , that the entire step system would be lighter/easier to fold..
My kids and wife always seam to struggle with them . .

I agree, I looked at a set of the new Alumi Tread Steps, it looks like the same metal frame and pivot / hinges with lighter Aluminum Steps in place of the heaver Steel Steps

Ours steps are with the aluminum tread plates mounted on the steel hinge fixture. My wife likes it better than steel on steel. She takes care of the steps now on her check list.
