thermostat off won't work

This is a new problem. When I turn thermostat to off it does not turn off but starts blowing.

Make sure the other switch which should say fan is on auto

Actually now you know you can just run the fan by itself when you want. We sometimes do that in the bedroom at night.

Yep, that Fan only mode works to provide some "White Noise" when sleeping. I will generally run the Fan on with the AC to help mask the compressor kicking on and off.
