We're not sure which bathroom walls in our 31' RW are safe to drill for mounting towel racks. What have you folks done that worked or didn't work?
Blind without glasses,I need a mirror thats closer than over the sink. Has anyone installed a mirror inside the door to the medicine cabinet? If yes, where did you buy the mirror and how did you install it?
Thanks in advance for your help!Bonnie

Bonnie, same problem with seeing. I installed a standard make up mirror 5x on the side of our medicine cabinet between the shower wall and cabinet. Used the mounting bracket as a template and drilled through the cabinet from the inside. It pulls out from the wall and I can tilt it up and down. Great for shaving and my wife to apply makeup. Has with stood bad road in Md, Tenn, and Va so far. Search Jerdon swivel wall mount 13.5 extension. Also used over door towel holder and kitchen towel over cabinet holder under the sink.

Bonnie,
We went to LOWES and purchased a 5x extend mirror, and mounted the mirror on outside of med cabinet away from doorway. I tilted mirror for DW height, 5'3". sent private msg with email and I will send photo's. We have a 36FL. We use over the door towel racks everywhere. Easy to Move.

We installed a towel bar on the underside ofr the cabinet that is over the toilet in our 36FB. Also git 2 adjustable shower curtain rods and place them just above the shower enclosure for hanging towels.

For towel rods, we bought an over the door hanger. Installation couldn't have been simpler.

bought 2 towel bars (for bath towels and facecloths)and 2 round towel holders (for hand/face towels) to match the tp holder. They're from www.harneyhardware.comSavannah style. Got the info from our sales rep at rw. Installed the 2 towel bars on the back of the bathroom door (1 a little down from the top of the door, the second, a few inches below the door handle) and the 2 towel rings on the wall next to the medicine cabinet, between the medicine cabinet and the pocket door to the bedroom. I installed them with screws into the wall (plywood) and door (also plywood -- hollow core door). So far OK. If they don't hold, I'll go to Home Depot and buy anchors for use with paneling.

In our 36RL, we attached our hand towel bar directly to the shower glass just to the right of the sink. We used an over the door rack for the bath towels and robes.

Ahh, you guys are making me jealous of your great 36ers. We love our 31' but there isn't enough space on our med. cab. side to mount a mirror. We'll try to find something to put inside the door to the cabinet. Either way, I'll share what we do because this 31 hits s sweet spot for frequent travelers.

Nice pics. Thanks. On our 31', the med. cab . doesn't have enough side to mount a mirror. I'm considering a solution that doesn't use too much of inside cabinet, like a small hook to put a mirror on each day.

If you put a spacer inside and use GLUE to anchor, spacer you should have more than enough Strength to keep in PLACE. Don't forget to support mirror when traveling.
