I know, I was thinking about that too... but there isn't much damage, so probably not. I rather think it was water intrusion that arched or something. I guess we'll never know. I don't think our antenna has EVER worked properly, because this new one has MUCH better reception, we get LOTS more channels now! Turned out to be a good thing!

Lightning doesn't have to be a meltdown, it may have hit something across the street and you just got the ricochet

I just can't imagine anything in there with enough voltage to be that vulnerable to water, but I may be wrong.

You know, you COULD be right, and we *WERE* gone when it happened on a week-long trip and I know the weather was turbulent while we were gone! Wow, what a concept.
