Voltage drop

When my converter is running all the lights are nice and bright. When the converter shuts down the lights start going dim in about one hour. Then the converter kicks back on and they go bright. I check the voltage in the batteries and they are 12.9 volts. These batteries are about 4 years old.

Why is your converter cycling? It should provide a constant voltage to your 12volt.

you must have all your lights on at once or you're using your current up somewhere else. Have you tried switching over to the LED lights?

All the lights are Led. I switch over to Led about 3 years ago.

same problem.. turns out.. both batterys had a bad cell.. which in 9 months time.. fubbarred the inverter.. had to replace batterys and inverter.. went with an x-antra 3 stage.. best thing i did besides swapping all the lights to led
