Washer

I have a 3600 Redwood and purchase a washing machine for it. My question is where does the water drain into the grey water or black tank.

Not sure what you mean by a 3600 Redwood. Please double check and post your year and model number. 36 rl, 36fl etc. maybe someone with that model will chime in.

OK we now know it a 2016, but still don't have a clue as to which model. Could make a big difference in the answer.

The answer irregardless of model # is a grey tank. Only thing I would think that would go to the black tank is the nasty stuff.

not always true. Sink in our half bathroom goes to black water, so it is still a good question.

We had a Montana that the Washer didn't drain into any tank, could only be used when we had full hook-ups as it was connected directly to the discharge pipe. Some other models plumb the washer into the Black depending on washer location in relation to holding tanks.
Remember the MFRs are doing things as cheap as possible, so comes down to what is the shortest distance from the washer to holding tank, doesn't matter to them, Black or Gray.

I still stand by my statement that a washing machine goes into the grey tank. It is a high volume water consumption and would fill a black tank within a few loads. The average gallons of water can range between 8 and 20 gallons per wash!

Washing machine drains into gray tank. Not black. It is no different than a kitchen sink. Have had them in 4 different units from Class A's to current 2021 Redwood. It goes into gray due to volume and type of discharge.
