waste management system
Has anybody had any experience with Lippert's new waste management system? Normal waste systems have an elbow that twists and screws into the 4 inch female threaded sewer insert that RV parks use that you can leave in place. The elbow from Lippert is unique in that it has an on/off valve and a rubber flange intended to wedge into the PVC pipe. Problem is, our elbow doesn't stay in place by itself and no amount of twisting or pushing will change that fact. Thus I called Redwood who deferred to Lippert (who made it), and they admit they didn't think this one through. There are some pluses about the waste management system in how it connects to the Redwood, but unfortunately, the elbow connection is an anomaly. So, question remains, has anyone else tried to hook this up to a sewer system and had it stay?
