Water heater failure

Shame on us for not replacing the anode in our 2015 38GK water heater in a timely fashion, won’t happen again!!! We have now replaced the 12 gallon Suburban water heater with same brand, same model, same size. Mobile RV guy had it running on gas when he left, it would not run on electric, but we had gas. He came back 2 days later to remedy that and could not. He could identify that electricity could not reach the water heater due to a faulty circuit board. So now we can’t get the gas to work either and this may take 2 weeks to get the part. Has anyone else had this type of issue?

Check the orange wire coming from the control panel switch to bundle of wires on top of the water heater. If this 12V wire is not connected at water heater relay, the WH will not run on AC.

If all OK, check out thermostats on WH.

.mñIf it truly needs a board, I would recommend using a replacement made by Dinosaur Electronics. The boards they manufacture are a lot better than factory boards. It won't take two weeks to get it either.
