Water pump switch

I had noticed that my water pump switch stayed lit even when in off position. I really noticed when I was using one of those spray wands to clear 1:2 batch black tank as part of effort to clean sensors. I turned off well water to connect a hose for the wand. When I opened the dump on the toilet to insert the wand, water kept running, checked the switch, off-on , made no difference water kept running ie: pump was still on. I preferred a new switch but if course , wrong size. Thoughts? Comments if you have similar

That's my suggestion also.
Seems I always bumped that switch when connecting to the black flush fitting.

I was also always bumping it when hooking up black flush. I have since installed a quick connector to the black flush. i have a specific hose that I use to connect to the flush system and don't have to twist the hose into the fitting any longer.
