What about icemaker, when winterizing?

I don't need to at present, because of workcamping, but how do you handle the icemaker when winterizing?

I run pink all though the entire system including the ice maker and washer. Then I turn off the ice maker line under the sink. Then I go outside and disconnect the water line leading up to the ice maker after I'm sure the solenoid has pink in it.

Jerry,
I disconnect both lines from the solenoid valve.
The one that goes up to the maker should just drain and have no issues with freezing. You can winterize the supply line or blow it out.

With the water line off the "out" line of the solenoid, the water will pump through quickly, flushing the water line.

You can winerize it like "Coloradolivin" just make sure that solenoid doesn't have water left in it, to freeze and break.
