What's in the Ceiling??

Would like to run direct coax from dual tuner in living room to bedroom TV. Does anyone know how this could be done in the ceiling? Dealer coax is defective and makes lines/static on TV. Dealer repair man kept telling me I needed a second receiver. I have proven that is not the case but would like to run my own coax if anyone can help? I'm very frustrated with my dealer at this time!

One main problem: With your LR TV in the Slide, all cables come from below, as in the belly then up through the bottom of the Slide, there are no wires in the main ceiling going over to the slide.
With that said, you could route a cable out the back corner of the slide with all the other wires and cables (I ran a coax up through the hole for our WiFi Repeater Antenna), then over to the belly, then start forward till you get up under the BR and work your way up.

OK - sounds like ceiling not an option. Looks like dealer has cable coming from ceiling in bedroom but not sure how they did it. Going in the belly will work. Thanks for the help....this is a great forum for ideas!

They are in the ceiling in the bedroom because they're not in the slide.

another option

If your dish is not on the roof, than you could use a short piece of coax to jumper the 2 connections on the roof, one goes to the LR (One of the 3 in cabinet above the tv) one goes to the bedroom. if there isn't a break in the lines going to the slide.

You also might check the coax cable connections. I had one where the insulation wire was wrapped around the copper causing a short. It's a simple fix.....once you locate the problem! Coax cable testers help a bunch but not through splitters.
