Wine Fridge Woes

We have been in our "new to us" 2017 Redwood 3901wb and we love it and have ran into a few issues I would like to address. First and foremost is the wine fridge has never cooled below 57 degrees. I read it needs better venting. How do I remove it to make modifications?

Does yours have a vent on the left side of the cabinet? If so I would recommend putting a small say 5 inch computer type fan behind the round grill vent to pull air from behind the wine cooler...done mine and have never used it yet...but think that will make a difference to move air from backside condenser...can find them online 120 volt ac...

My wife has a wine cooler here at the house , the lowest it can be set is 57*F. She stopped using it 4 weeks after I gave it to her. She only drinks sweet whites or pink and she wants it cold , Ice cold. It ma be a design issue but I do agree if its not vented the compressor will build up heat and it will retire early. a small fan pushing air in to the cabinet will sure help.

Just did a quick Google search and it looks like 55 is the ideal storage temp (45 to 65 range). We picked up a small one at one time, thought we could keep water cold, but like you've found, not very cold. Put it at the curb with a Free sign and gone quickly.

A wine cooler is set up for wine. Optimum temperature for wine storage is 55. If you want a frig, buy a frig. But a wine cooler will never get things cold, it isn't supposed to.

Still tackling this issue...hinge is on the right. Mine doesn't have a vent and I'm pretty sure that's the issue. I have a larger one to put in and am going to cut a vent but don't know how to get the old one out. Any tips?

The fridge should have a button that you push and hold for five seconds and you can then lower the thermostat to 40 degrees. I have a 2018 and that's how mine works. Mine also has a 6" round vent that was in it from the factory and work's like a champ.
