Winterize the dishwasher

I'm wondering how do you get all of the water out of the plumbing of the dishwasher so it doesn't freeze during the winter?

Assuming you are purging the rest of the system with antifreeze, just run the dishwasher on rinse cycle while you are pressurizing the plumbing with antifreeze. The cycle only takes about 11 minutes, and once it draws water at the beginning of the cycle you can move on to other things as it wont use any more water.

Just make sure you purge the kitchen faucet first, so the antifreeze is immediately available at the dishwasher connection.
