winterizing.
I have been winterizing RV's for 35+ years never a question.... Now my 2020 has a plate with 4 colored knobs in the wet bay that tell you which way they need to face for each purpose...
I have NO suction tube like in my 2016, How do I introduce the pink stuff into my system ? Really dislike having to use the fresh water tank if thats the only way, but there is no gravity fill port for that either ? What am I missing??

Set the nautilus knobs as per the diagram for winterizing. Attach a short piece of garden hose to the city water inlet. Other end goes into the antifreeze( jug, or bucket) Turn your water pump on and open taps inside till antifreeze runs through.
You would have already emptied the fresh water tank and your hot water heater. The Nautilus , when set correctly for winterize, will exclude the hot water and fresh tank from getting antifreeze.
If you google How to winterize a Nautilus RV system, Grand design has a pretty good video( there may be others). We had a GD and now the 2021 Redwood and they both work the same...least that is how the GD works as I have done it on our last one, and was told by our tech the Redwood is the same. Have not done it on the redwood yet as it is still in the shop for warranty work after 2 months.
Hope this helps a little.

Thank you very much for the detailed reply. Now it all makes sense, once I turn my valves to winterize, the city water inlet becomes a suction hose. And once I put my extender hose there, I can then put it into my 5 gallon bucket of RV pink stuff and start my dishwasher.

Correct, Nautilus shuts the fresh water tank access off so the water pump can only draw from the city water inlet making it a siphon as noted. Good luck! Hoping we get ours back soon to be able to deal with winterizing

Isn't it time to go somewhere in the winter you don't need those knobs
