We have a 2011 36RL. I need the wiring diagram for the thermostat with a/c and furnace. My furnace has never worked since we have owned it. When you switch to heat it blows the fuse in the thermostat. I had it to the dealer twice and it still does not work. The last time we had it to the dealer they wired the hot wire direct to ground. We are full time work campers and it is hard to get it to a dealer.

I was able to get some other types of drawings from Brian Emmons customer service at Redwood. I would suggest that you email Brian at < bemmons@redwood-rv.com > and include information about the month that your 36RL was built and what information you want. He was helpful to me on my 2012 36RL.

Redwood e mailed me the diagram for the thermostart and also sent pictures of the wiring behind the thermostat. Then theyhad a tech call me to go over the wiring. Found that the thermostat wiring was not correct. We made the changes to thewiring and the furnace came on.

You know, so far I am very impressed with Redwood customer service. If they implement a good QA inspection like Northwoods, most of these "Duh" mistakes will never leave the factory.

In 2010 we visited the Jayco, Carriage and DRV factories. This last summer we toured the Northwoods factory in Lagrange Oregon. They are head and shoulders above the others factories we toured. QA at every build station, supervisors are held responsible and there was a two person QA team doing a final inspection. They use little blue painters tape pointers to mark defects and even some small dings in outside panels were flagged.

Your right
there Quality is not there yet. We been full time work campers for over a year.
I think we got most of the bugs out of this unit. We were getting water in the refrigerator
I took the panels off on the outside found the drain hose was going up and over
the coils instead down under the coils. It makes me think if they do any QA at
all.</span>

makes me wonder, are we falling into the same rut, get the units out let the customer and dealer find and fix the small stuff (quantity or quality) or is it just greed $$that gives us a BIG black eye ?
