I also kept my plate drawer and was happy to be able to also fit my platter. Since I have the GK, I have lots of space with 2 of the large pantry areas. My biggest concern is going to be with the cups and glasses when we start traveling down the road. Yikes, I am afraid when we open the door that I will have stuff everywhere except in the cabinet.

I have also lost spices from the spice drawer. We took out the drawer and they were just on the bottom or rolled to the back of the space below the pull out. Now I am very careful about pulling out the drawer too fast. I have the dishwasher and put a stacking shelf in front of the sink area (top of the dishwasher) and that is a good space for extra spices.

our 38gk actually puked out the sink covers on our last trip Think how hard of a bounce it was...

One was on the stove and one was just about to fall off the front island when we landed !
