2016 vs 2017 questions

Hi All,
Looking at a used Redwood 36rl but I am a bit confused. It was made in Aug 2016 but exhibits mostly 2016 equipment but it is being called a 2017 model. However it doesn’t have some of the 2017 equipment like 17.5” H tires, MorRyde center suspension component and other items. It has a paint job ( Black and Maroon) of a 2016. But it does have some of the 2017 features like a 24” x 48” shower. Can anyone shed any light on this as we like the unit but I am trying to figure out if I should be making an offer for a 2016 or 2017 model.
Thanks in advance!
Gary

That's pretty normal - there is no crisp model year change. It is more like a slow transition while they use up stock and work through the Engineering. We used to go to the lots and take pictures of the unique ones that had the new paint on old body style for example.

OK, I thought maybe it was built for a show or something. Sounds like it is just manufactured during their transition to full 2017 layouts and new model numbers.
Thanks

BTW - I also live in Lone Tree, CO. Glad to meet you "atom ant"!

Hey Gary that's pretty cool! What a small world. We have been in the Ridgeview neighborhood for about 16 years.

The 36RL was my floorplan of choice back in 2013, and then it would have been the 38RL that came out later. I've probably lost track of the features by now. I remember the buffet that we liked on the new ones, the 3 ACs with a power management system, and the straight roof which didn't necessarily do much for me.

Happy shopping!
