Yes, I have seen the floorplans for the new Blackwood. They are offering four models with one of them being a bunkhouse.

This is the floorplan for the new Blackwood SK. This site is not very friendly for uploading pictures.

This is a brand new product line. Not sure how many units other than the one unit was built so far. Sorry, I don't have pictures of the inside of one of these, but I am sure they will have something online soon.

From what I read this will be for recreational and weekend use, so would be more entry or mid level, not for full timers. I wonder what frame and insulation they will use?

Looked at a couple of Blackwoods at the Tampa show. No thank you, interior can't hold a candle to the Redwood or even our current Montana. Frame is lighter than the Redwoods also. I guess if you're looking for a plain Jane lower version of a Redwood for just short weekend trips it would work. We're looking for something we can live in for 9 or 10 months a year if not Full Time.

The Blackwood is not going to be a 4 seasons unit like the Redwood. It will be on a 10" frame and will still be a well built unit just less of the nicer things the Redwood has and only a one year warranty I believe. It should come in $8k to $10k less than the Redwood.

Lower class of unit. Frame is lighter/smaller, interior can't hold a candle to the Redwood, but should be a good unit for those not planning on living long time or full time in their rig. I can't compare to other brands, but I would say the Blackwood is on par with a Montana Mountaineer. It would be under a Montana where the Redwood is above a Montana Big Sky. Note: This is just my opinion from what I've seen looking at them at the Tampa show recently.
